- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWhat an amazing heartwarming beautiful film!! I would give it 10 stars if I could. It was difficult to watch at first… but seeing the characters find their way was so inspiring and fulfilling to see. I didn’t realize - til the end of the movie - that it was based on a true story. Wow. It’s even more beautiful knowing that. I hope everyone sees this movie. We all need a lot of hope and community and love through these turbulent times in our history. What a balm. Grateful I saw this today. You should see it too! Wonderful acting by everyone. Wow.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie was a complete surprise to me. It is simply beautiful and highlights the importance of human connection. Barbie Ferreira and John Leguizamo proved that they are first-rate actors, deserving of great roles. This movie touched my heart in a way that I cannot describe. I wish more people came to see st the big screen, movies like this deserve to shine big. Miss Ferreira is pure gold.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExceptional performances and script. Well executed and directed. All around one of the best movies of 2025.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsFYI - This was based on a TRUE STORY of the Directors life... I almost never comment or rate movies, but this movie is phenomenal... It's a true emotional tear-jerker throughout the entire movie... kinda wish I had watched alone, emotional doors opened I didn't realize I had triple bolted shut 😶🌫️.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis film really delivers! Since the opening scene, you develop a sense of empathy toward the main character and really understand her. All the characters are believable, well developed and three dimensional. This film if seen in countries that do not understand English will still be able to be pulled into the powerful narrative of human emotion. As an actor seeing this for the first time, it makes being in this medium such a rewarding experience. Houston native director, Tracie Laymon gives us such a treat into the human psyche of wanting to connect and be loved.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsDuring the first half of the movie, I didn’t know if I was going to like this movie or any of the characters. By the end, I was glad I’d stuck with it. A few ear jerker.
