My 2 and 4 year old want to watch it over and over. Not terrible for the adults, either.

Clifford was a really cute movie. It added a really good story to a beloved children’s tale and brought it to life.

Not the best adaptation of Clifford, but a serviceable young kids film nonetheless!

Crianças sempre roubam a cena, Camp e Wang...

I was totally on the fence about this movie but decided to give it a very lukewarm recommendation based on my good holiday spirits and the fact that a fellow uncle plays a huge part in the story. I remember Clifford books growing up when I was little, but I don't remember ever reading one, so I don't have any nostalgic connection to the big red dog. Younger kids will probably enjoy the physical comedy and pratfalls, as well as the numerous jokes involving dog butts and dog farts. Parents and guardians will more than likely spend a majority of the running time on their phones checking e-mail and Instagram posts. Camp is like a fun-size Amy Adams and succeeds at creating a likable protagonist. I am familiar with Whitehall through his very engaging and humorous appearances on THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW; however, I was a bit disappointed in his performance here and feel like he was stifled by the family-oriented humor. I would love to see him in a more adult comedy in which he was allowed to let loose. Older folks such as myself will probably find some enjoyment in seeing familiar faces in supporting performances. It's a routine story told in a routine fashion, but I must say the effects are very well done, and the big red dog felt very well integrated into the story. Don't be surprised if your young ones ask for a new puppy for Christmas after watching Clifford's hijinks here.
