Gladiator II
audience Reviews
, 82% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsGladiator 2 is entertaining enough to sit through, but it feels lackluster compared to the original. The story is hollow, with little setup or backstory to make you invest in the characters. The battle scenes, while well-shot and occasionally engaging, lack real weight because the stakes are never clearly defined. Paul Mescal doesn’t quite have the presence to sell himself as the gladiator, so when it’s time for his big speeches, they feel awkward and even a bit corny. Denzel Washington is easily the standout, carrying the film as much as he can, but it’s still not enough to make this a must-watch. If you skip it, you’re not missing much.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI loved the story, I never watched the first one but I was able to understand what was going on and I enjoyed it!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIncredible actors, but such a typical blockbuster written film. So predictable and just blah, who cares.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsWatch the first movie, the original Gladiator. Then watch this. Not even on the same level. Who gets paid to rathe this movie like other people have given good reviews. It’s not good. It’s not worth the watch. Typical studio trying to make money off a old great film but can’t come up with original ideas.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsWeak performances of most actors. Denzel lifting all he can but the dialogue throughout the movie is incoherent and uninteresting. Yet another movie trying to tell a story of love, death and betrayal, but resulting in a cartoonish wannabe, not worth the time. Sadly.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely wonderful production and execution of this film. From start to finish it had me excited and intrigued to what was next in the best way possible.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsBeautiful looking, but not much of a foundation to hold up the epic energy.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsExecution across the board.
