Really enjoyed this installment in the franchise! You go in expecting a certain thing and it delivered just maybe with a bit more humor and fun. Pretty formulaic at this point, but that is perfectly fine! This is not some deep movie and the parts that they try to make deep do not really land. But, when it leans into the martial arts and the action sequences it is a fun movie! Fun time at the movies!

This was a very fun movie. I have a few minor nitpicks but not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. I recommend it highly.

The film is too fast paced and doesn't give time to feel the moments, yet it still has some good stunt sequences and humour.

The movie was fun had a karate kid 1 vibe at the beggining, the story started losing itself during the tournament SPOLIERS!! During the transition from fight to traning was taking away the tournament and felt very rushed to push Lee fighting Day, unlike Kobra Kai and Karate Kid where they show the training preperation first then the tournament and showing each fight. Overall im giving this a 4 star as the film direction was good the romance was great and the music was superb, feel this movie could learn from Kobra Kai.

Was an enjoyable film, predictable and doesnt add much to the franchise but overall was enjoyable. Went with my nephews and they enjoyed it as well. Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan are the reason it was enjoyable.

Im a Big Jackie Chan fan & enjoyed the nostalgia of the movie. Seeing Mr. Biaggis home & cars again was a plus and I enjoy the fight scenes. The choreograph of the fight scenes I give five thumbs up. Nice surprise at the very end when Jackie Chan sent a pizza to CA. The jokes fit great.

I liked the fact that her Dad wasn't continuously teasing Li throughout the movie because of where he was from.

If you are a fan of The Karate Kid original movie trilogy, The Karate Kid 2010 reboot, and Cobra Kai, YOU MUST SEE Karate Kid Legends. (NO SPOILERS included) My wife, son, and I saw it this afternoon and I have to say it was very well done. It provided an interesting back story into the scene of KKII when Miyagi told Daniel about how the original Miyagi Shin Po Sensei brought Karate to Okinawa from China. They tied that with how Jackie Chan's Han from the reboot fits into the story. Daniel comes back and helps Han train the newest Karate Kid, Li Fong, in New York. Ben Wang does a wonderful job as Li in his delivery as an actor and martial arts skills - much better than Jaden Smith did in the reboot. They kept the tradition this time going from the original KK with a fantastic kick to win the championship. I will give Jaden Smith credit in that over the top kick to win his final match was impressive. However, Li shows some great skill in his version. Li also has his "Ali" in Mia Lipani girlfriend. Ming- Na Wen plays Li's mother, who you might recognize from ER in the 1990s, The Joy Luck Club, and Mulan among others. This movie brings everything together from the old into the new and rides the wave of popularity from Cobra Kai very well. Given the statements Ralph Macchio has been known to make, he would not have participated or given his blessing if the writers and director didn't do it right. After 30+years of saying no to many scripts thrown at him to reprise Karate Kid, he said yes to Cobra Kai because the idea and script was really great. And it was. Now this movie - Legends - feeds off of that. I only wonder now what is next. KK fans - SEE THIS MOVIE!!!
