Overall I thought it was a good sequel they just didn't follow through and make a third one! But they need to get some new songwriters it's like after making wish they forgot how to make songs!

The spirit that inspired the first film; was missing.

Lots of people are saying the songs are bad but in my opinion, the vocal stretch and the visuals were very exciting. overall a very good family night movie for young kids.

I still enjoy the first film more. But after watching the second movies I did enjoy it. It has its flaws especially with certain characters introduced. But it's not bad as people say it is. The plot it's kinds alright. But I enjoyed everything else. Still a good movie and worth watching for the fun of it. But the first film will remain on top.

Moana’s adventures continues as she tries to discover the Island that will bring all humanity together. Not quite as good as the first one but still pretty good 🍿🍿🍿/5 on Disney+

It isn’t nearly as good as the original 2016 films. The songs lack the charm the original film had. They are less memorable with characters that were unnecessary to the story. However, the story is still touching with a couple of fun songs. While you can tell it definitely was reworked form a Disney+ series (you can see where each episode was going to cut off), it is still a decent sequel. Definitely Disney’s best animated feature in the last several years.

It was always going to be a challenge to live up to the original, and the sequel doesn't come particularly close. The music is a notable downgrade, but the main characters are strong enough to make it watchable. If you liked the first, this one will likely be worth a watch. Just make sure to temper your expectations.
