Great film. Would recommend. Best lion king movie in my opinion.

The only reason it got 1 star instead of a half star is because the animation is impressive. The problem is, the realistic CGI does not work with these types of movies. Realistic animals don't show emotion like animated ones can. Just blank expressions the whole time. The weird CGI probably could've been overcome if the music wasn't awful (the bye-bye song was basically torture) or if the story wasn't just a boring slog full of political messaging. My two daughters stopped watching and pulled out puzzles about 30 minutes in and didn't complain when I turned it off to start their baths. Congratulations Disney, my children chose to do the same puzzles for the 27th time and then take a bath rather than watch this movie. Absolute magic.

A definite come-back from the live action Lion King from 6 years before. Each character’s personality and design fits perfectly with the plot and setting. It was a cinematic adventure with loss, romance, and courage! It also is accurate in details from the previous films, not adding in anymore scenes or lines that doesn’t fit with the storyline of the Lion King films. Would recommend to have a Family-movie night with Mufasa!

The songs are really bad, like, really bad. And the story line feels like a rush to market video game story line.

The first part of the movie was just an exact recreation of the good dinosaur, complete with a father rescuing their son from a flash flood. The music was nonsensical as if AI created the songs. It was just a generic predictable story.

I’ll stick to the original. It was a little forced at times. Some moments felt unnecessary. An ok film!!
