On Swift Horses

The script is kinda all over the place.

Honestly, incrediblyyyy boring. Wasn't invested in any of the characters. Well-crafted and acted, some decent tunes.

We walked out in the middle of the. Movie after they showed men kissing each other.

Intriguing story line, but didnt quite hit the mark. Some content didnt make sense.

Very well acted and the ending was moving. Several people in my group found it slow but I was entertained and engaged the entire time. Definitely more of a niche appeal.

everything about this movie worked for me....the casting, performances, soundtrack, period costumes and sets and pacing. i loved the intimacy of the dialogue.

Great acting, a great story, a true Indi- like film

Somewhere in there is a good love story and a better film. But this is just decent. Hard to care for anyone but the husband, and the film doesnt care for him sadly. Its all over the place

I was a little hesitant about seeing this, given the 51% (as of this writing) critics rating on RT. Still, I went. It's not a great film but it's certainly better than 51%. I enjoyed it. Cast is competent and easy to look at. Great period piece. There were a couple of plot points I didn't buy, but they didn't interfere with my enjoyment. Complaints -- so much smoking! I never want to see another cigarette in a movie! And as I find is the case in so many movies these days -- soft and mumbled dialogue. Glad I saw it, and will probably watch again when it comes to streaming.
