Great family movie. It has a good meaning and is very entertaining. My husband and I both loved it. It was a refreshing change from some of the movies that weve seen lately.

It was a WONDERFUL Christmas movie and did justice to the book it was based on. It made my wife happy cry some at the end along with her best friend. My wife said she definitely wants it on Blu ray when it comes out. Would definitely recommend for a family and Christian movie!

This was the best movie I saw during the 2024 Christmas season. The religious focus of the pageant will make this movie a new holiday tradition for us in the years to come. I admit my expectations going into the movie were lower than they should have been. A friend/neighbor recommended the movie but we chose not to watch it in theaters like they had. This story is one I am familiar with, and one I have read before. However, it was excellently portrayed in this movie. Touching and funny, I even may of shed a tear or two. The depiction of this story brought it into my own reality. I could personally relate to the characters and the motivations of the characters. I used to be a Herdman, but now I am a Bob. Judy Greer was perfect, and it was fun to see Lauren Graham. For me this movie will rank with It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story, Home Alone, Christmas Vacation, and 8-Bit Christmas, as we settle in for Christmas watching movies together as a multi-generational family. It may be one we even reserve for Christmas Eve next year. This movie will not win an Oscar but it did win my heart.
