What a great adaptation! this is the best foreign film of the year and one of the best movies of the year, and one of the best movies ever. If your a movie buff & love beautiful cinema, locations, story, intrigue, Acting, this is it. There is also a new tv show Version with Jeremy Irons that is only playing in Italy. It needs to be playing everywhere. This film adaptation & tv Series are Fire, brilliant watch now

This film is a sweeping, majesterial master work. Shame on the U.S. media and film industry for ignoring it.

Everything is SO well done within reason - even the Grandeur. At no point do you think, “nahhh, nooo waayyy…”. Every scene looks great. The character development is satisfying and rewarding. Honestly, as far as condensing this large Volume goes, they did a great, great job.”

Loved absolutely every second of this movie. Incredible acting and unique tweaks to the story, and a real magical weaving of it all coming together. One of my top three movies of 2024.

Such a well done movie! From the cinematography, the music, the acting epic! I havent read the book, but my husband said they were very similar.
