The Last Supper
audience Reviews
, 80% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsReally enjoyed this movie the way all the characters are portrayed as real men and women not so Hollywood. Costumes well made and the landscape amazing. This movie is definitely a must see.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsBeautifully filmed, great realistic location, and great acting. It wasnt so focused on Jesus walking with his cross to his sacrifice that other films do , but it shows his love for his father and all of the people. I thoroughly enjoyed this film and found it inspiring.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely incredible! I would never miss that movie.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis movie was not good. Low budget. There is scenes of the landscape where it looks so fake it’s funny. Only good thing about it was there was scenes were they go word for word with the Bible via the book of John. The ended felt rushed. Missed alot of key points about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ… I have never wrote a movie review but this one was so bad I had to warn people.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love the acting and the portrayal of Jesus. The storyline is on point with the story in the Bible.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI wanted to like this film, but the pacing and tone made it a really hard watch and the dialogue and acting were of a quality I would have expected from CW. Ended up walking out about an hour in just because it wasnt a very good film.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI thought the movie was inspiring! The actor who played Jesus was a bit disappointing! On the other hand the actor who played Peter was very good! Overall I give the movie 4 stars!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsA disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it. As someone else wrote, it was a mishmash of events. Low budget hair pieces, no depth in the dialogues, nothing fresh, nothing moving. This beautiful story deserved to be handled with excellence, dignity and reverence—this portrayal offered none of that.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe were expecting The Chose: The Last Supper and weren't aware there was another movie with the same name. Highly disappointed. We didn't feel that there was much passion or charisma in the portrayal of these characters, not even with Jesus wrecking the Temple in Jerusalem. Couldn't get into it and hard time giving it a fair shake simply because we were expecting to be viewing "the other" Last Supper. Just be careful that you are spending your money on the correct one that you want to see. This was sort of scripturally accurate but some things were disturbingly "off." I'm glad to see we weren't the only ones April Fooled by this second rate interpretation, but I'm wondering if the reviews that are raving about it are reviewing the correct version. We walked out. Boring.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsEasily one of the best films of the year. The director studied the Torah and the bible to make it more accurate, and he hit the nail with this one! This film has so much emotion and it works
