I enjoyed this story and learning about Chuck. It is structured in three acts with each going back further in his life. It has a powerful message and I liked each act a little better than the last. I am a little unsure about the first part of the movie (Act Three) as they made his conclusion a MAJOR event to say the least. I might be missing something there, but I would have enjoyed it a bit more if it stayed a bit more contained to learning about Chuck. But, he really does “contain the multitudes” I guess. Great acting and love the Stephen King elements. Something I think all should see.

Very good. SK is the best. Mark Hamill is exceptional in his supporting role. Matthew Lillard also delivers a nice little supporting performance.

This is definitely not a movie for everyone and it is also not a Stephen King horror film. It is more in line with Stephen Kings movies like Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me. Those things aside this is one of the most wholesome and heartwarming movies Ive seen in a good long while. Just a great message about living life to the fullest and appreciating everyday you have. I loved it. It also just proves that Mike Flanagan continues to be one of the best directors working in the industry today!.

Excellent portrait of life and death, and the effect of the choices we make.

Not my cup of tea. Maybe I need to read the book. It wasn’t emotional for me as it was for some. It was disjointed and slow IMO. Acting and directing good but I never quite connected the dots.

Just a well set up, well told story. The actors are all fantastic. I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since we left the theater.
