There are plenty of people who enjoy these types of all quiet, monotone type films, but I am not one of them. I found this one rather boring and no real compelling story line to the point of beginning to doze in the theater. I am sure it will have its fans, but a hard pass for me.

A commendable risk-taking approach with its relatively abstract narrative, The Phoenician Scheme showcases Wes Anderson at one of his creative peaks both visually and metaphorically, yet ever so entertaining to watch.

Great movie very relaxing and unique and has a very elegant style and pace to it Wes Anderson is one of the best directors working today and he knows how to cast and utilize a talented cast and make something different and original from other directors he makes really cool movies and with stellar performances from Benicia del toro and the rest of the cast we get a fine film released this year an honorable mention of one of this years best movies

Definitively Anderson in cinematography, production design, and genre yet not as compelling or engaging as other Anderson films comparatively.

One of Wes Andersons best films yet!

We saw it on the theatre! Admittedly I found trouble following the intricacies of all the different chapters.

Definitely an eccentric film, off the beaten path. We appreciated the dry humor.

Meh. Again, Wes Anderson relies on his trademark stunning visuals to tell a story that focuses largely on dysfunctional family dynamics.
