Wolf Man
audience Reviews
, 56% Audience Score- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI wanted it to be better than it was. Generally a quality idea and setting it just fell short of putting it all together. Still, some good jump scares!
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsAll these cleverly poetic reviews are more entertaining than the film. It was a snoozefest!! Boring and pointless from start to finish. The most disappointing part was Julia Garner, obviously used her name to draw in an audience, her character was weak, helpless and completely unsupportive. Far from the Julia we all know and love. Don't waste your time.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWasn't good or bad.....just a watchable movie ✌🏾
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis was a surprisingly well done reimagining of the story of the Wolfman that sad to say will go under the radar and be forgotten about by the end of the year and to be honest that is a complete shame because this was a lot better than I thought it would be.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI found this movie to be very moving—it’s a drama and thriller. I have no idea why there are low ratings. As a horror movie fan, I felt the filming was fantastic and at times, I felt like I was watching a play. Great acting, and straight to the point with the horror aspects…not to be missed.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThere are a few things I liked about this. The creature effect and the view of his vision wad very cool. That might be the only things. But personally I like wolf man movies more than werewolf movies. Keep a more humanoid form than a wolf form like the original.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsAn American Werewolf in London is one of my favorite movies so I thought why not give this a try, even though the ratings aren't great. Really not worth the time. For one thing, the vast majority of the movie takes place in a darkened cabin or the woods at night. It was almost impossible to actually see what was happening on the screen. I wouldn't have recommended for that reason alone but there's also virtually no character development so it's hard to care what happens to any of them,?even the kid. The mother envies the relationship their daughter has with her father. Why? Who knows. Skip this one and watch Novocain or Companion instead.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsCould be the worst movie I have ever seen. No continuity in scenes. Plot points dropped. Unlikeable characters. Contrived and not slightly scary. Only scary part is that writer and director may find work again
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsClassic movie about werewolf. quite boring
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsUnfortunately, Wolfman left me underwhelmed. While it aimed to modernize a classic, the result felt more like a clinical drama than a compelling horror. The film was painfully slow, lacking the grit, tension, and emotional investment that a story like this demands. Ironically, the most believable and heartfelt performance came from the child actor—everyone else felt distant or underdeveloped. Rather than leaning into the rich mythology and folklore that has always made the Wolfman so haunting, the film stripped it all down to a pseudo-scientific “freakish disease” concept. Aside from a few growls, there was no real transformation, no primal terror—just a hollow shell of what this legend could be. I admire the attempt to reinvent, but this approach missed the mark completely. It wasn’t scary, it wasn’t engaging, and worst of all—it wasn’t wolf. Sadly, I hated it.
