The trailer is what really drew me to this film. After watching it, it was entertaining for at least a single watch, but I do agree with others that it could have progressed better i.e. things happen very quickly in one night when they could have drawn it out more across a few days into a final treacherous night, allow it to build on the characters some more, dive deeper into the psychological horror of the concept. But really it seemed to accomplish what was intended, a quick thrill. Throughout the movie I made jokes towards my dog, “your ancestors are so scary, not very nice, what a mean wolf.”

The opening is great. The rest of the film lacks the same tension and there is no real fear that anything is going to happen to our human protagonists. It's not offensive or bad - just fairly bland.

I think Wolfman was bad at the Beginning it builds up suspense The movie was way too fast and the characters they say what they’re gonna say and they do what you might think they’ll go do but they don’t bad movie

A man and his family are trapped inside a remote farmhouse after being attacked at night by a ferocious creature. After being left wounded, the man is infected with an unknown disease that rapidly transforms him into something that his wife and daughter can barely recognise. The gruesome metamorphosis quickly evolves into a battle for survival, culminating with a tragic familiar event. "Wolf Man" is an engaging werewolf story with solid elements of body horror. The movie tackles the toxic parenthood triggered by the overprotective behaviour of its main character, who becomes himself a threat to his loved ones. A satisfying reboot ressurecting one of the most frightening creatures of horror cinema.

Not the worst horror movie you'll ever see, if you're just looking for something to watch. But this movie is very forgettable. It just dragged on to a pretty obvious conclusion.

There is a better movie in here dieing to come out. Thought provoking, interesting and a different take on werewolves. The major downfall is that it lacks in scares and horror, but does have a good amount of ambiance and the way the Director treats the main characters metamorphosis was done brilliantly. Its just a smaller and slower movie than what was expected and hoped for.

Wasted talent of Julia Garner when for the sake of remaking a classic.

It’s not the constant loud thrills you expect but something more slow-burning. However, this does feel like frustratingly less than the sum of its parts with a thinly-explored family backstory and a middle act that feels like it has five to ten minutes cut out of it.

Wolf Man scared me! It was the best suspense throughout the movie. It was also the back story of the wolf man and his love for his family that made me feel so much empathy. There was this conflict of compassion versus animal instinct.

Good film, slightly let down by the music not creating much tension
