Kaia Gerber
Model Kaia Gerber followed in the footsteps of her mother, Cindy Crawford, to enjoy her own successful career in front of cameras in the 2000s and 2010s. Born Kaia Jordan Gerber on September 3, 2001, she was the scion of fashion model royalty: Gerber's parents were the iconic supermodel Crawford and model-turned businessman Rande Gerber, who raised their daughter and son, in Malibu, California. Both children would join their parents in the modeling business, with Kaia's print debut coming at the age of 10 for Versace Junior. By her teenaged years, Gerber had amassed an impressive resume of advertising assignments for Burberry, among others, and appearances on runways for Versace and Chanel, among other fashion houses, all while attending Malibu High School. She achieved a major career goal in 2018 when, at the age of 16, she earned her first solo cover for Vogue's Paris edition; this high water mark was soon followed by spring campaigns for Versace and Marc Jacobs, including ads for the latter's Daisy fragrance, which she shared with fellow model Sofia Mechetner. That same year, she signed with Yves Saint-Laurent to serve as the face of its YSL Beauty line.
