Kim Matula
Kimberly Matula was an American actress best known as Hope Logan to legions of daytime soap opera fans. Born on August 23, 1988 in Fort Worth, TX, Matula studied film at the University of Texas at Arlington, but dropped out once her acting career started taking off. Her big break came in the form of a supporting role on the Lifetime original film "Queen Sized" (2008), and she soon after landed a cameo role in a 2009 episode of "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS, 2005-2014). Matula was catapulted to stardom in 2010, when she was cast as Hope Logan, the conservative yet idealistic daughter of Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lange) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), a product of their illicit affair, on the classic daytime soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS, 1987-). Matula played Hope Logan from 2011 until 2014, earning a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series for her final season, while also returning for cameo appearances in 2015 and 2016. Speaking of 2016, her next big part came that very year, when she joined the cast of the dark reality TV satire "UnReal" (Lifetime, 2015-). Matula was next seen on the airline sitcom "L.A. to Vegas" (FOX, 2018-).
