Sasha Calle

Colombian-american actor Sasha Calle was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She took an interest in performing from childhood, singing and writing music from an early age. As she grew, Calle would focus on acting on camera. She lived in Colombia for a couple of years, but eventually returned to the US, realocating from Miami to Los Angeles to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy. In 2008, a year after graduating, she was cast in the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" (CBS, 1973-), for which she received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series. Her next role was also her feature film debut, and she became the first latina to play the role of Supergirl in the "The Flash" (2023).
