Trudie Styler

Most often associated with the musician Sting (she married him in 1992), Trudie Styler is in fact an accomplished actress and film producer. Trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Styler acted in many BBC productions in the early days of her career, such as the rustic romance "Poldark." She met Sting around this period, and the two lived together for 10 years before they were married. Styler carried on with sporadic acting jobs, but in the mid-1990s she began producing films, including the award-winning documentary " Moving the Mountain" in 1994. In 1998 she became an Executive Producer on Guy Ritchie's pulpy feature-film debut "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels." On top of executive producing his next feature, the similarly crime-themed "Snatch," Styler also gets credit for introducing him to his future wife, iconic pop star Madonna. Throughout the 2000s Styler continued to produce some stellar feature films, including the coming-of-age drama "A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints" and the sci-fi mystery "Moon." She continued to pop up in films and on television throughout the 1990s and 2000s, most notably with a guest appearance as herself on the hit sitcom "Friends."
